[Confession] 7 First Kisses

Before anything else, I would like to define my drama reviewing:

First, I won't be posting episode recaps for dramas because i don't trust my character - I tend to get lazy when I have routines to accomplish and

Second, sometimes when I decide to watch a drama, I depend my continuance on the first episode. So if ever I am interested in a drama, I will watch the first episode and I will review it just to see how it goes. If I liked it, I'll have a continuation review after I finished the whole thing.

Kke, let's go! :D

*major spoiler alert*

7 First Kisses was such a warm gift we received while spending our holidays. We were so looking forward because of the star-studded cast and thankful to the big-time producer Lotte for bringing these beautiful people together in one production. So upon reviewing my first impressions, I envied Lee Cho Hee for getting the role - and I'm still envying her now. It's hard not to! She's in the position of every girls' dream - partnered with a guy isn't enough but seven is just heaven! (See what I did there?) I would trade positions with her anytime of the day if I could! Haha

Let's move on to the story proper: The review I had prior gave away the problem of Min Soo Jin not having her dates neither first kiss even after turning 25 years old that day. A Fairy Godmother, in the form of Choi Ji Woo, gave her a chance to date seven different guys to experience and choose who she wants to have a first kiss with. So the magic of the story per se lasts until she was about to kiss the guy and comes back to the original time of 10 minutes before the department store closes. That's pretty proper.

So there, she met 7 different guys with the identities of: a Church Oppa, a Boss, a Secret Spy, a Student, a Rich Heir, a Popular Actor and a Travel Writer. These seven guys come and go bearing different memories and experiences with Min Soo Jin that she magically acknowledges depends on the needed female lead for each guy. As I have said before, I liked how relatable Min Soo Jin's character is. This web drama makes us believe that even if we're full of flaws (but a saleslady of Lotte loljk) there will come a time that an oppa will come to us, ask us out for a date or save us, while shoving us memories we didn't know existed - And that's a reason why I mark this a fantasy genre. Haha!

The downhill is maybe the fact that the title didn't coordinate much with the ending. She didn't get what she came for!! She didn't get to kiss and they didn't show whom she choose. So WTF?

7 First Kisses is good if you want to have a mini fangirling on the hotties. But the ending felt like a half-assed concession trying to leave a cliffhanger and make us create the possible ending for ourselves (in the real life ending, not the 6 guys ending) I felt like someone took me for a ride, dropped me off in the middle of a field, and then gave me a pogo stick to get back home, leaving me bewildered and bounced about without explanation. Where did that First Kiss go and why did you take it away from me? *weeps*

I take back Lee Cho Hee's Luckiest Girl Alive award!! Huhu.
